Willett 13 Years Old Rare Release Bourbon

Single Barrel WILLETT Family estate 59.6% by vol. (119.2 proof) Barrel Number 1279 Color: Copper or dark amber Nose: The smoke hit first. It reminded me of the smell of the butcher I visited as a kid. Followed by clove and then a small hint of vanilla. Palate: Starts very peppery with a hint of rye here and there. It ended as a sugary and orange notes. Finish: Candied orange finish. The alcohol stays on the palate for a second but dissipates rather quickly.
