The National Choice Single Malt Scotch Whisky Cask Strength Auchroisk Distillery 2010 Vintage

2010 Vintage, Bottled in 2021, Cask Strength Cask Type Sherry Octave We’ve definitely got a winning hand here with the Auchroisk 2010 The National Choice King Of Diamonds. This is a fantastic bottling of a fine Scottish single malt, aged in Sherry Octaves and bottled in 2021. The Auchroisk Distillery was built in 1972 by Justerini & Brooks and most of its output goes into the famous J&B blended Scotch whisky. Auchroisk has also produced its own single malt but there has been some argument over what to call it. Some people felt that “Auchroisk” was too difficult for non-Scottish people to pronounce so in 1986 it was just called “The Singleton.” In 2008 both names were combined to “The Singleton of Auchroisk.”
