The Macallan 1851 Inspiration Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky

The unique and sublime Macallan 1851 Inspiration Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky is reminiscent of the time of change and experimentation with different cask types in whisky production, was bottled in the year 2010 in a limited edition and was officially only available for a short time in the travel retail market. The surface of the original glass bottle was lumpy in places, and the glass itself had trapped small bubbles; the neck was not straight and the body of the bottle was slightly ovoid. All these imperfections, common to early Victorian glassware, were precisely copied in the replica bottles, which were made by master glassmakers Stolzle Flaconnage of Knottingley, West Yorkshire. The replica bottles were then sealed by hand and finished with a faithfully re-created label, using the hand-lettered style of the original. The 41.3% ABV whisky is described as light in style and displays characteristics of its time spent in a combination of bourbon and sherry oak. A wonderful collectors piece for any whisky enthusiast and collectors of outstanding scotch whiskies!
