Nose: Sweet caramel joined by that classic Laphroaig saltiness and distinct Islay peat. Palate: Peppery with a light smokiness, again from the peat - this is met by a slight salty breeze. Finish: Extremely mellow with a lingering smoky after taste. Overall the Laphroaig 15 Year Old is still as strong and distinct as it was 30 years ago and remains one of our favourite single malts from this region, if not of all time!
