Cream of Kentucky Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey Bottled in Bond

Nose: Sandalwood, clove, dry grain, oatmeal, honey, baklava, cinnamon, bread dough, multigrain cinnamon rolls. Palate: Wood is the first thing that hits the palate. It's somewhere between sweet oak and a 2x4. I like it but I can't decide if I love it. The dram moves in a different direction next. There's warm toffee pudding, raisin cinnamon rolls, bread pudding, maple oatmeal sweetness. Finish: Wow this is where it shines. Coffee cake, toffee, tons of barrel char on the back of the palate.
