Bellevoye Triple Malt Whisky Peated Edition

Like all the whiskies in the Bellevoye range, Bellevoye Noir is a whisky produced entirely in France. This peated triple malt is a blend of three whiskies, each from a different French distillery. Each of them has been aged for 5 years in its original cellar. After blending in the Charente, Bellevoye Noir spends a year in new French oak barrels that have been toasted. The nose seems quite soft despite the presence of peat. Indeed, there is a light iodine smoke with clearer scents of cold tobacco. However, there is also a slightly drying counterpart: liquorice, burnt wood, incense, coffee, vegetation (dried herbs, mint, sage) and spices (grey pepper, clove). In addition, there are sweeter scents such as apricot (fresh and dry) and brown sugar. It is therefore a very compact aromatic block.
