Barbaresco 2003 Ca'Rome' Romano Marengo

Ruby color with cherry, fresh flowers and a little earthiness on the nose. Medium bodied with nice red fruit together with nice acidity giving this wine a fresh, clean mouthfeel. Red fruit profile with good minerality and hints of cedar and spice and. Nice 30 second finish with smooth tannins. Not much complexity but this is very nice and represents good value at about $25. Drinks well with just a little air time and should be good for a few more years.
