Akashi Single Malt Whisky Aged 5 Years in Sherry Casks

This is a 5 year old single malt from little-known White Oak, based in Hyogo (just west of Kobe). It was aged in a Sherry cask for those 5 years, resulting in generous helpings of lip-smacking Sherried sweetness.
