2018 Or Haganuz Orot Cabernet Sauvignon Special Reserve

The Or Haganuz Special Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is a complex and layered wine produced from grapes grown in the Namura vineyard of northern Galilee. The small vineyard is situated 800 meters above sea level and is comprised of terra rossa soil. This robust wine offers big tannins, high acid and is full bodied, the limited production of 1,950 bottles of this special reserve Cabernet Sauvignon received a 93 point rating from the Ultimate Wine Challenge. Aged for 24 months in French oak barrels, the wine is displays aromas of dark fruit, cherries, currant, plum that follow through to the palate. Notes of menthol, chocolate and clove continue through the mid palate with a hint of charred wood and herb on the long finish.
