Winemaker Notes


A distinct red currant and ripe plum fruit character with the added complexity of wild herbs, nutmeg and violets. The palate is full bodied with a sturdy gravelly structure supporting some deep red and black fruits, dutch cocoa, plum skins and rolled tobacco. The distinguishing feature of Spring Mountain reflected in the wine is the wonderful texture and savory complexity with provided great length and approachability.
Blend: 44% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, 8% Petit Verdot, 8% Cabernet Franc, 5% Malbec
