1992 Chateau Baron de Pichon-Longueville Bordeaux

This wine stood out every time I tasted it. The wine exhibits a saturated dark rubypurple color, and a big, flashy, bold bouquet of jammy blackcurrants, cedar, and smoky oak. Medium to full-bodied, with wonderful sweet, rich, concentrated fruit, and moderate tannin, this highly extracted, gorgeously made wine is low enough in acidity to be drunk now, yet promises to evolve gracefully.
