Oude Beersel Oude Geuze Vielle Sweet Beer

Surprisingly big head for the style, with very good retention. Cloudy straw-yellow brew.

Aroma has lots of funk, oak, and apple. Not particularly tart on the nose.

Flavor has tons of funk, with a kiss of apple on the end. The tartness comes almost entirely from the yeast. Oak is fairly subtle, but present.

Surprisingly medium-full bodied, fairly lively.

Really a very pleasant Oude Gueuze.
